something happened that changed my life forever. Back then, I was getting ready to get married. I was helping a friend re-roof my home when I fell off of the roof while carrying an 80# bundle of shingles. When I hit the concrete, I cracked both sides of my lower jaw and two teeth. I developed terrible headaches. The pain in my head was so intense that I couldn't sleep. I would curl up on the floor in the fetal position with ice on my temples. I was afraid that I would lose my job because the headaches were affecting my ability to concentrate. And that's not all. The stress to my new marriage was unbelievable. After considering my options, I decided against drugs and surgery. A friend of mine was a doctor so I dropped in to see him. The doctor did an exam, took some films, and then "adjusted" my spine. The adjustment didn't hurt, it actually felt good, I got relief, and my head stopped hurting. And, this doctor was a chiropractor. But listen to this. Later the headaches eventually returned and the chiropractor who had "adjusted" my spine said that the root cause of my headaches was in my head, not my spine.
