action. Calcium tightens the muscles; magnesium relaxes the muscles. With insufficient magnesium the
muscles stay tense, causing a cramp in the muscle. This could happen
when you have too much calcium or too little magnesium. The same thing happens in the heart, which is a muscle. Too much
calcium causes the heart to go into a spasm and it can’t relax. This is
called a heart attack. Get some magnesium into the body and the heart
will start beating again. Take the following example: What country has the highest
rate of pasteurized milk consumption? That’s right: America. Now, what
country has the highest rate of consuming calcium supplements? Correct again:
America. So, America must have the lowest occurrence of osteoporosis (calcium
loss & bone fragility) of all countries? Right?...
Wrong! We have the highest rate! Why? Milk
is about 8 calcium to 1
magnesium and will create a deficiency in magnesium. Taking
more calcium will not fix a calcium deficiency, which is quite Excess
calcium combined with low magnesium. A lethal combination indeed. Remember,
calcium and magnesium need to be in the correct proportions for your own needs, otherwise the calcium turns from a nutrient into a pollutant causing
heart disease and hardening of the
arteries. The
four major minerals of the body are sodium, potassium, calcium, and
magnesium. Magnesium levels
determine (control) the
level of the other three. Correct the available Free Ionic magnesium
levels and you will correct about 80% of the problems with calcium, sodium,
and potassium. This will improve the conditions of arthritis, high blood
pressure, and arteriosclerosis. Magnesium is by far the most important mineral in the body activating over 325 different biochemical reactions in
your body all necessary for your body to function properly. Calcium alone is useless and
potentially harmful. THE CALCIUM
PROBLEM Excess calcium is a vastly widespread problem, as Excess calcium DEPLETES magnesium from
the body, and as a result brings about all of the symptoms of
magnesium deficiency. At this point, it is NOT important how much magnesium
you consumed, but how much is left in your body. If you feel your body is out
of balance and isn’t functioning right (with some symptoms manifesting), I
would suspect excess calcium especially if you have been supplementing it. For this very reason excess calcium can become a real
problem, while excess magnesium, on the other hand, is not a very big
concern. Unlike calcium, magnesium does not build up in the body, and excess is eliminated. Very few people are aware of the enormous role magnesium
plays in our bodies. After oxygen, water, and basic food, magnesium may be
the most important element needed by our bodies. So vitally important, yet
hardly known. Magnesium
is more important than calcium, potassium
or sodium and regulates all three of them. When we get too low on oxygen,
water or food, the consequences are serious. Yet, we often don’t realize the
consequences of magnesium deficiency. What are the symptoms of a magnesium deficiency? Millions suffer daily from Headaches, Insomnia, PMS,
Sleep Disorders, High Blood
Pressure, Backaches, Muscle Tension,
Body- Tension, Fatigue, Low Energy, and Heart-Disorders, Other conditions are: Kidney
Stones, Osteoporosis, Depression,

THE HEART CONNECTION Did you
know that without sufficient magnesium you would actually die? Your heart

magnesium levels in the body. The early signs of such terminal extinction are
racing heart-beats, or any unusual change in heart
beats, angina pains, collapsing from exhaustion after heavy physical exercise
or work such as running a race, playing football or basket ball. Due to lack of magnesium the heart
muscle develops a spasm or cramp and stops beating. This is
because there is insufficient magnesium to relax the heart and allow it to get
ready for the next contraction. Irregular heartbeats are also caused by
magnesium deficiency. Drink some magnesium and it will go way. To understand the importance of
magnesium let’s consider this: Magnesium
is the most important mineral in the body, activating over 325
different processes in your body; Among these functions are digestion, energy production, the
functioning of your heart, bone formation, creation of new cells,
activation of B vitamins, relaxation of muscles, kidneys, adrenals, brain, as
well as the nervous system. Magnesium deficiency, to any extent, will
