I am Jim McCarty, D.C. I have been a Chiropractor for 35 years since 1984.
My whole life, I have always had a goal to be a doctor. One day when I was about 5 years old, I heard a small voice tell me: "You are going to live to be over 100 years old." On my 20th birthday, one of my friends wrote on my Birthday card "20 down and 80 to go".
I delivered newspapers from the age of 10 until I was 17 years old.
I accepted Jesus Christ into my life at age 14.
My older brother, Randy, died in a very stupid and unnecessary automobile accident on his 20th birthday which was not his fault. I was only 14 1/2 years old. I became very depressed. I questioned God as to why my brother had to die. My mother said that it was because God wanted a Good Angel. I asked God to bring my brother back to life and take me instead. I told him that I would volunteer to be a Good Angel. I thought that God would strike me with a thunderbolt and kill me and turn back time to bring my brother back to life. Of course that did not happen.
I questioned if "Life After Death" really existed. I wanted to know "What is the Purpose of Life?" When God did not answer me; then I decided that my life had no Purpose and I wanted to be with my brother. I decided to kill myself.
My neighbor saved my life by asking: "Jimmy, how are you handling Randy's death?' I told her the truth. She told me: "Jim McCarty, God Made Randy. God Made You. He Made Everybody and Everything. He gave each of us a Purpose. What is Your Purpose?" I replied: "I don't know." She took a deep breath and raised her voice and said again more loudly: "God Made Randy. God Made You. He Made Everybody and Everything. He gave each of us a Purpose. What is Your Purpose?" I thought for a moment and again said: "I don't know." This time she took a Really DEEP breath and Screamed at me: "Jim McCarty, God Made Randy. God Made You. He Made Everybody and Everything. He gave each of us a Purpose. What... is... Your... Purpose?" I went deep inside of myself and searched for the answer. I looked up and down. I looked left and right. She had Stated Emphatically that God had Made Everything with a Purpose. I had been asking "if I had a purpose." Those are two entirely different questions. I have no idea how long that I was inside of myself looking for the answer and I was afraid to say that I did not know because now I was afraid that she was going to kill me. FINALLY I hesitantly stated; "Diane, I don't know what my purpose is, but I am going to stick around and find out."
She did not kill me and I am still here today.
I became a Eagle Scout at the age of 17. When I graduated from Richardson High School in 1973, I went to work with Southwestern Book Publishing Company out of Franklin, Tennessee. My picture is in Time Magazine June 17, 1973.
At age 18, I began to work in a restaurant and thought that I would go into restaurant management as a career. At age 23, the President of Southwestern Company, Jerry Hefel, came into town and had breakfast with me. He asked me a question. "McCarty, if you knew that you could not fail;... What would you do?" I said: "Jerry, If I Knew that I Couldn't Fail, Then I would be a Doctor." I had dropped out of college for two years and I decided right then to go back to college and work towards becoming a doctor. The rest as they say is history.
I am single and have a small dog named Benji. He looks like a large Yorkie. He is actually an Australian Silky Terrier. He is a rescue dog.
I have been very interested in helping people to get rid of head and jaw pain so that they can experience more joy in life. Primarily, I am working on the head, neck, mid-back, and lower-back. I remove Nerve Pressure wherever I find it. I work on the brain and the spinal cord which together are the computer that monitors and runs your body and ultimately controls your Quality of Life and Determines How Long You Will Live and Be Healthy. The Brain and Spinal Cord are referred to as The Central Nervous System and it determines whether you will get Alzheimers or Dementia. It controls your reflexes, clumsiness, ability to Think and Focus. It determines your Efficiency at Work and your ability to Multi-Task. Keeping your Brain and Spinal Cord free of Nerve Pressure should be at the Top of Your List when it comes to Your Health. This will be what gives you the Most Bang for Your Buck in the long run when it comes to your health. The spinal cord is 20% of the CNS. The brain is 80% of the Central Nervous System.
You should get your skull checked for Subluxation Complexes at least once per year. The purpose of removing nerve pressure is so that the body can heal itself. Permanent Pain Reduction is Possible for even the worst Condition. If You Have Tried Medications and Nothing Worked--Try CNSR
