Multiple Sclerosis
I am a Chiropractor and I do NOT treat the Multiple Sclerosis "diagnosis". I focus on finding and removing subluxation complexes of the spine and head of people who happen to have Multiple Sclerosis. This in turn allows for better functioning of the body with more energy, better balance, and more coordination.
The medical community and the Multiple Sclerosis society say that MS is the progressive demyelinization of the nerve sheath in the central nervous system resulting in loss of nervous system control and function. Patients with MS have been told that the myelin nerve sheath has been eaten away.
I believe that the "demyelinization" of the nerve sheath is just dehydration of the nerve sheath. Both of these conditions cause shrinkage and result in the same appearance on MRI.
However, sometimes the condition of Multiple Sclerosis appears to go into remission. In fact when the patient with MS is pregnant the symptoms tend to go into remission. How is this possible if the nerve sheath has actually been eaten away? Did the nerve sheath suddenly grow back? If so, how is this possible?
My approach using Central Nervous System Restoration is totally different. I have found that we can help 50% of the patients with MS by using a combination of five major therapies and three minor therapies. So Far, I am the only doctor in the United States trained in all eight therapies. They work together very well and the results last.
1. Nimmo Technique-deep muscle work along the spine developed by Dr. Ray Nimmo, a chiropractor, which breaks up lactic acid in the muscles and increases blood flow and oxygen thereby helping the muscles to relax. This reduces the subluxation complex.
2. Bowen (Neuro Structural Integration Technique)-Very light muscle work designed to relax the muscles of the spine, neck, face, and jaw even further so that they do not pull the bones back out of place. Developed by Tom Bowen of Australia who was an osteopathic type of therapist. It resets these muscles so that they do not pull the spine back out of place. This reduces the subluxation complex.
3. Cranial Sutural Spread- regular cranial work that feels like I am massaging the scalp where the bones of the skull come together. This promotes the flow of the cerebro spinal fluid in and around the brain.
4. Cranial Lift-very gentle lifting of the head with patient laying face up with light pressure laterally on the underside of the skull to reduce the subluxation complex at the back of the head.
5. Reset jaw muscle (Masseter) spindle fibers-very gentle massage of the major jaw muscles that allow you to chew. Adjusting these muscles play an important role in reducing the subluxation complex of the Tempor-MandibularJoint.
6. Central Nervous System Restoration-uses a small instrument that looks like what is used for "angioplasty". It is a blood pressure cuff with a finger cot (small balloon) attached that is placed into the nose (turbinate bones) and inflated with air for about 2 seconds. The balloon then opens the cartilage at the back of the nose and allows you to breathe better. It also "begins the process" of restoring the subtle motion of the skull bones that is supposed to happen when you breathe air in. The CNSR therapy focuses on removal of subluxation complexes on the skull and facial bones from the inside by restoring movement to these joints.
Recent research, done at my clinic in August 2004, has allowed for FINE TUNING of this “ Skull Work”.
7. Atlanto/Occipital Restoration-(Ligament Resetting)-light pressure applied behind the ear (bottom of the skull) and to the upper bone in the neck while rotating your head throughout its range of motion during inspiration and expiration to reset and remove the subluxation complex between the Atlanto-occipital subluxation.
The Soft tissue work is just as important as the Central Nervous System Restoration in correcting the underlying cause of the subluxation complexes.
First let's start at the beginning! What does the term Multiple Sclerosis mean? Multiple means more than one area or location. Sclerosis means hardening. Thus Multiple Sclerosis means hardening of the central nervous system in more than one location.
Dehydration of the nerve sheath will cause it to shrink, get hard, and appear as if it has been eaten away. Dehydration of the central nervous system in more than one location results in the condition known as Multiple Sclerosis.
This means that rehydrating the central nervous system will help reverse the Multiple Sclerosis.
“When we are born the brain is 90% water. As we age our brains begin to dehydrate. Each year the brain loses about .5% of moisture. Every ten years the brain dehydrates by as much as 5%. In twenty years it dehydrates about 10%. By the age of forty the brain has dehydrated by 20%. This means that by age forty the brain has gone from 90% water down to 70% water. At this point brain fog sets in! When the brain dehydrates down to 55% the person develops Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, or Senile Dementia. People with Parkinson's disease and Multiple Sclerosis are showing symptoms of a dehydrated brain and a very slowly functioning Central Nervous System. Injuries to the head cause compression of the skull and accelerate this process of dehydration.
A nerve fiber is like an electrical wire that is surrounded with insulation. The amount of insulation wrapped around the wire determines how thick that the nerve looks and how quickly that it can conduct electricity. The insulation is called the myelin sheath and is made up of a fatty substance called myelin. It is much like cholesterol. It looks like a jelly roll wrapped around the nerve. The thicker the insulation the faster it can conduct the nerve impulse.
There are three sizes of nerve fibers. "A" fibers are the largest or thickest of all the nerve fibers. It is also fastest way to conduct a message. "B" fibers are medium sized and do not carry information quite as fast. "C" fibers have the least amount of insulation and carry information slower. These are the fibers that carry pain messages to the brain.
Injuries to the skull and/or tailbone cause dehydration of the central nervous system. The Cerebro spinal fluid is made in the brain and is pumped through the skull every time that we breathe. It is then pumped down to the lower back.
This spinal fluid is responsible for keeping the central nervous system wet and operating at peak performance. Injuries to the head and tailbone cause this fluid not to flow properly. This results in dehydration of the central nervous system.
As the "A" fibers dehydrate they shrink in size to a "B" fiber. As a "B" fiber dehydrates it shrinks into the size of a "C" fiber. The brain's ability to process information decreases rapidly.
People with multiple sclerosis usually suffer from chronic fatigue as well.
Magnesium aspartate and potassium aspartate supplements taken for a minimum if one year usually cause the chronic fatigue to disappear as well as helping considerably with the MS symptoms. Magnesium citrate powder (water soluble) works even better. If the person will add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar as well as a capsule of cayenne pepper, then they will get their magnesium and their potassium as well as malic acid. This will soften up the hard calcified inflexible muscles and help the heart to function better at the same time.
A therapy known as Central Nervous System Restoration will decompress the skull and allow the spinal fluid to resume it's normal rate of flow thus rehydrating the brain and spinal cord. Usually 6-12 series of four days each are required about 4 weeks apart with an annual follow up.
Allergy desensitization plays a large role in minimizing the release of histamine which is released when the brain is dehydrated and causes swelling of the brain.

Antioxidants neutralizes free radicals and repairs the damage that has already been done to the central nervous system. Microhydrin is the most powerful antioxidant known to man. One capsule is equivalent to 10,000 glasses of fresh squeezed organic orange juice. We also use "Xango Juice".
MSM—sulpher is important for the body to maintain flexibility and repair the soft tissue.
Alpha Lipoic Acid is a supplement that allows antioxidants to repair both water soluble and fat soluble portions of the body. In other words, ALA allows the antioxidants to repair the cell membrane as well as the DNA, RNA, and mitochondria. It allows antioxidants to do a complete job, without it you will only get partial results from your antioxidants.
Eating more fiber and detoxing your colon have accelerated the results that MS patients receive.

My intention is to help heal as many patients with Chiropractic Cranial Subluxation Complexes and Multiple Sclerosis as I can. Although I have had remarkable success using “Central Nervous System Restoration®” to treat very difficult cases, I am not allowed to make guarantees. Each patient is unique and each situation is different. If you continue to treat Chiropractic Cranial Subluxation Complexes and Multiple Sclerosis with the traditional approach; then you will get traditional high failure rates. My approach is quite different and effective.
