Diabetes
Every doctor knows that if the patient is anemic or diabetic; then their circulation is bad and they take twice as long to heal. Therefore, when we examine a patient and find a subluxation complex or multiple subluxation complexes; then this complicating factor of poor circulation must be addressed. I find and correct subluxation complexes and use supplements if indicated to support the healing of the muscles and ligaments.
I am a Chiropractor. I am NOT a Medical Doctor. I do NOT put anyone on prescription medication nor do I take anyone off of their prescription medication. That is outside of the scope of Chiropractic Practice.
My job is to find and release subluxation complexes and thus allow the body to heal itself. I look to see if there are any subluxation complexes at T 6 level which is the nerve going to the stomach.
I look for subluxation complexes at the brainstem and in the skull because that affects Cranial Nerve 10 called the Vagus nerve which goes to the digestive system.
I look for Chiropractic Subluxation Complexes of the Nerves going to the pancreas and the liver and the adrenals.
I look to see if the patient has any sensitivities to foods or airborne allergens that are causing weak muscles or muscle spasms associated with a subluxation complex. I address the Chiropractic portion of what I find on the examination and leave the other portion the appropriate medical specialist.
Diabetics can be divided into Type 1 and Type 2. You can be born with diabetes or it can develop later in life. You may need some insulin on a daily basis to balance your blood sugar or you may be able to keep it under control with diet and exercise. Either way, recent research has revealed that there are various natural means by which you can help yourself.
The pancreas has certain cells called the Islets of Langerhans. These cells produce insulin as it is needed and in the correct proportions for the amount of sugar present in the blood. The insulin then circulates in the bloodstream where it binds to the insulin receptors like a lock and key type of mechanism.
Some food allergies and various airborne chemicals resemble the chemical composition of insulin enough to fit into the insulin receptor's lock and key mechanism. Whenever an insulin receptor site becomes filled with anything other than insulin, it becomes inoperative. This is becoming more widely known as insulin resistant diabetes.
This insulin resistant aspect of the disease is responsible for 50% of your condition and can be reversed and cured not just controlled. Addressing the insulin resistance through diet and exercise improves the strength and conditioning of the muscles involved in the subluxation complexes. Addressing the insulin resistance through diet and exercise falls into the category of a complicating factor of the Functional Pathology dealing with the subluxation complex and is included within the scope of Chiropractic.
I repeat, I focus on finding and eliminating Chiropractic Subluxation Complexes and the associated muscle spasms and weaknesses. I do NOT prescribe Insulin or any other medication. I leave that to the appropriate medical professional.

My intention is to help heal as many patients with Chiropractic Subluxation Complexes and Diabetes related problems as I can. I focus on the Chiropractic portion of the patient's overall condition and leave the rest to the appropriate Licensed Medical Professional. Although I have had remarkable success using “Central Nervous System Restoration®” to treat very difficult cases, I am not allowed to make guarantees. Each patient is unique and each situation is different. If you continue to treat Chiropractic Subluxation Complexes and Diabetes related problems with the traditional approach; then you will get traditional high failure rates. My approach is quite different and effective.
